Ingredients:

  • 1 slice whole grain or sourdough bread

  • ½ ripe avocado

  • ¼ cup canned chickpeas (rinsed & mashed)

  • ½ tsp lemon juice

  • Pinch of chili flakes

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: cherry tomatoes, microgreens

Instructions:

  1. Toast your bread to your liking.

  2. Mash chickpeas with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread mashed avocado, then chickpea mash on toast.

  4. Top with chili flakes and optional garnishes.
